Local:
On each machine download the installation package and run it. Installation package detects the installed components

Web:
From the web interface you will see the warning sign on the Updates pane, where you select the agents to update and click Install now

Update technology:
Windows: agent downloads live_update_installer.exe from Backup Management Server, which downloads the installation file through port 80 from dl.managed- protection.com and runs it
Linux, Mac: agent (service_process) downloads the file and runs it.
